Digital communications coordinator

August serves as the Digital Communications Coordinator at Operation Restoration, where she captures and curates digital content to raise awareness about the organization’s mission and services. Working closely with the communications team, she plays a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining an engaging digital presence across social media platforms and the organization's website.

With over four years of experience in digital marketing and design, August has collaborated with a variety of businesses and entrepreneurs to create impactful digital strategies. Originally from Michigan, she earned her B.A. in religion from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, before relocating to New Orleans in 2023. Inspired by the city’s vibrant and welcoming community, she joined the nonprofit sector to channel her passion for art, design, and advocacy.

At Operation Restoration, August is excited to contribute to the promotion of equal opportunities for all, with a focus on amplifying the voices of women in New Orleans and beyond.
