Remecia Vickers

Rapid Resource Responder

Remecia is the Rapid Resource Responder at Operation Restoration, where she is responsible for supporting clients with rent, utilities, court costs, transportation costs and other expenses that women incur when establishing stable housing and employment. Additionally, she identifies, builds and maintains strong community partnerships with outside entities.

In addition to helping her clients find needed resources and assistance, Remecia’s goal is to support women on their journey to become their best selves. A native of New Orleans, Remecia received her associate’s degree in education from Delgado Community College. Prior to joining OR, she spent six years working in various educational facilities throughout the city as an early childhood teacher. Remecia plans on furthering her interests in education and client support by pursuing a degree in social work. In both her educational and professional pursuits, she enjoys helping her community and helping people recognize their full potential.
