Tracy Pratt
Higher Ed Administrator
Tracy Pratt is the Higher Education Administrator at Operation Restoration, managing higher education programming provided by the organization, including the College-In-Prison program at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women. The College-In-Prison Program is the only in-person, secular, accredited, higher education opportunity available to women incarcerated in Louisiana and offers a bachelor of arts in social science for women in carceral settings, as well as provides wraparound services to ensure successful reentry for students to continue their studies.
Tracy has over two decades of experience working with prison and formerly incarcerated populations through her work as a post-conviction attorney and various non-profit roles. Tracy has also worked as a university program director and instructor for adult learners. Tracy received her law degree from Loyola New Orleans in 2007 and her undergraduate degree from Eckerd College in 2000. When not at work, Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband, two teenage children, three dogs and a cat.
