College-In-Prison Program Now Accredited: WWL Interview with Syrita Steib

The Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women (LCIW), through our partnership with Tulane University is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to offer full degree programs as an off-campus instructional site. With this accreditation, we can now say our students at LCIW are degree-seeking and on track to complete their BA degrees in social science from Tulane.
