Lori A. Green, Esq. board member

A native of New Orleans, Lori provides services to state and federal criminal defense organizations and others to advance their efforts to create equitable workplaces.

Lori was the Diversity and Inclusion Officer with the Office of Fair Employment Practices, Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts in Washington D.C. Previously, she was the agency’s Chief of the Defender Services Office Training Division. Before heading the office, Lori was an Attorney-Advisor developing innovative training for criminal defense attorneys and spearheading initiatives to attract and support new attorneys to Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panels nationwide.

An experienced attorney and former member of the CJA panel in federal court, Lori was a federal prosecutor in New Orleans and Washington, D.C. Most recently, she taught criminal law at Southern University Law Center, and for several years, she was an instructor of Trial Advocacy at Tulane Law School. Lori is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Yale Law School.
