At operation Restoration...
we're working hard to provide academic counseling to help formerly incarcerated women and girls. We focus on answering questions and providing guidance regarding their academic endeavors, application, admission and registration process. Operation Restoration works to catalog all pertinent educational documentation for an individual. Additionally, we provide scholarships to assist with academic support that can assist in offsetting the costs associated with obtaining a degree in higher education.
Operation Restoration also assists formerly incarcerated women and girls with financial development, paving the way for women to make more informed financial decisions. Amongst the many institutional and social barriers faced by formerly incarcerated women and girls every day, a key issue is a lack of accessibility to information that allows for better informed financial decisions. Through a partnership with Campus Federal Credit Union, financial literacy is be provided to these women and girls.
Supplementing other academic support, Operation Restoration also offers tutoring and mentoring for women and girls enrolled in an academic program. Operation Restoration helps students to identify the tutoring resources offered through their institutions of higher learning and to discover other resources that contribute to academic success.
